THE TAILORED SEARCH TEAM
20 YEARS OF COMBINED EXPERIENCE IN THE MARKET
EMILY EVERLEY
I “fell” into recruitment in 2014, starting my career at SThree in London, where I learned the foundations of contract recruitment and developed a people-first approach shaped by the pace and energy of the industry.
After moving back to Birmingham, I discovered the world of finance recruitment and never looked back. I went on to specialise in interim finance recruitment across the local market, building strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and candidates alike. Working alongside Jono in the interim finance space confirmed just how much I enjoyed this sector and the impact the right finance professionals can have on a business.
Co-founding Tailored was a natural next step. I’ve always believed recruitment works best when it’s personal, so my focus is on delivering a boutique, high-touch service built on trust, consistency, and genuine understanding.
If I wasn’t in recruitment, I’d love to say I’d be a singer… but being completely tone deaf makes that unlikely!
JONO MORRIS
I began my recruitment career after leaving the Armed Forces, bringing a disciplined and focused approach that still shapes how I work today. I’ve spent most of my career specialising in senior interim finance recruitment across the Birmingham market, building strong long-term relationships and a deep understanding of the sector.
I enjoy the pace of the interim market and working closely with clients and candidates in time-sensitive situations, where trust, clarity, and delivery matter most. My approach is simple: honest advice, clear communication, and no unnecessary complexity.
Having worked closely with Emily for years, it was clear we shared the same values and vision for recruitment, which led to the creation of Tailored Search.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me running, training in the gym, or taking on endurance events. If I wasn’t in recruitment, I’d probably be a handyman, although I’m not sure my DIY skills would bring in much repeat business.
